Fuelling the Thrill at Pearce Cycle Downhill in Wales
We kicked off May with a rush of adrenaline at the Pearce Cycles, Downhill event in Wales! For a full weekend, our mobile wood-fired pizza service was on hand, providing the perfect fuel for both racers and enthusiastic spectators. The air buzzed with excitement as incredible races unfolded, and we loved being part of the high-energy atmosphere, serving up piping hot, freshly made pizzas to keep everyone energised. When it comes to sporting event catering or outdoor event food, our pizza oven delivers!
A Sunny Shropshire Baby Shower: Wood-Fired Pizza Perfection
Next, we brought our wood-fired pizza catering to a delightful baby shower in Telford, Shropshire. Booked by Lucy's lovely mum, Gillian, our pizza service transformed her home into a culinary hub. It was a beautiful, sunny day, perfect for friends and neighbours to gather and celebrate.
Everyone raved about our authentic Italian-style pizzas, cooked to perfection in our roaring oven. We pride ourselves on being inclusive caterers, and we were delighted to offer our special vegan mozzarella for two vegan guests, ensuring everyone could enjoy the delicious food without compromise. We wish Lucy all the very best for her new arrival in July!
Sweet Success in Derby: Launching the New BMW iX with Delicious Crepes
Our corporate event catering expertise was on display at Stratstone BMW, Derby for the exciting launch party of their new BMW IX. Having partnered with Stratstone BMW on many previous occasions, we were thrilled to contribute to another successful event.
Our stunning crepe tricycle took centre stage indoors, serving a continuous stream of freshly made sweet crepes. The most popular choice of the evening? Our irresistible Raspberry & White Chocolate crepe – a truly decadent treat that delighted guests! For corporate entertaining, product launches, or staff appreciation days, our mobile crepe bar adds a unique and delicious touch.
A Dreamy Shropshire Wedding: Evening Pizzas at Camlad Barns
One of the absolute highlights of May was providing the evening wedding catering for the beautiful Sophie & Nihad at the enchanting Camlad Barns in Bishops Castle, Shropshire. This was a truly magical rustic barn wedding, a DIY dream done perfectly, and Sophie and Nihad made such a beautiful couple.
As the evening celebrations began, we fired up our iconic wood-fired pizza oven, proudly mounted on our vintage 1940s Pashley's work tricycle. Guests loved watching their bespoke pizzas being prepared and cooked fresh to order, ready in a lightning-fast 90-120 seconds!
The couples chosen menu was a fantastic mix of favourites: the classic Margherita, fiery Pepperoni, succulent Farmhouse Chicken, and our popular vegetarian option, The Veg Bed. As always, we were fully prepared with vegan pizza options and gluten-free pizza bases to accommodate all dietary needs, ensuring every guest could enjoy the feast. It was a truly fun service with wonderful guests, adding to the joyous atmosphere of their special day.
